Rich Strike again. Why not.
Looking forward to this race.
Great comeback story about Rich Strike’s trainer.
My feelings exactly, after bouncing back and forth to a number of horses i also liked in both the Derby and the Preakness. As of yesterday, #1 We the People looked like he would be the runaway favorite but as of now, 1/2 hour out, he’s not. Rich Strike is about 5-1 last time I looked. Maybe odds will go down on a few of these by post time.My Derby pick was Mo Donegal and he is now the fave.......He raced well but had to go 10 wide. The best jockey in the USA and my favorite jockey from the first few months he appeared in the NY Circuit 10 plus years ago. I told everyone back then he would be in the very top of riders then without question, and they scoffed. Another fave of m in Preak was skippylongstocking and he I am putting somewhere in all of my 10 cent superfectas. I am also betting a few excta boxes with the Ortiz brothers, Irad and Jose. It is astonishing how many Ortiz/Ortiz exactas came in on the NY circuit-—no one seems to have noticed, but I started cashing in on them years ago. Also using the Jose horse #3 NEST on top in some small superfectas. Good luck to all....have to curtail this now or I will go on forever and miss the race.
