Trump also said that, in response to those high gas prices, the Biden administration would tell people to get rid of their cars.
"It's an incredible thing that's happened over the last few years, a lot of great things," said Trump. "And you’re paying, what, $2 a gallon for your gasoline? That’s okay."

I could have used that today when I saw the prices at Walmart of all places! Two weeks ago it was $3.85 while the others were $4.35.
Now Walmart gas today was $4.45! Thought I was gonna die! But didn’t!
In 1970, you could get a six-pack of beer for $1 and 5 gallons of gas for a dollar.
Today beer costs $10 for a six-pack and you can get only about 2 gallons of gas, for that ten.
