I am not a doctor and don’t even play one on TV, but it says he’s 28, and I thought that seems awfully young. I thought shingles was the chicken pox after it gestates, or whatever, in your system for decades.

It’s rare. I personally have never heard of anyone that age getting shingles.

Nope. I had shingles when I was 17 and again when I was 46.
They say it’s extremely rare to have shingles twice but I did.

Generally it is a thing that usually hits people over 50.
But if you have had the chickenpox, it can hit you at any age.

I always thought like you.

BTW..Their mother, my sister in law, darn near went blind from it since she got it on her face.

The first time I got shingles I was 20. The second time, 36.
