Trump certainly let a few people have it.

For Sessions part, he evidently naievely proved himself an example of the Peter Principle, incompetent, when in the name of pristine principles, he got blown out of the water to Recuse, by that trio of dirty agents at the FBI and he deserted the battle. AWOL.

He caved, everyone saw it and Trump simply rounded out the Fact of it by saying so, loud and clear.

Sessions was the most gracious.

He left quietly, but dared to try for a return to the US Senate. Trump had to bop him again, ignored his candidacy, and enthusiastically endorsed the coach, who won.

Jeff isn’t writing a book for bucks, like Barr. He was a good senator and Trump got Steven Miller from Sessions generosity. Sessions is a good man, basically, but no warrior. I loved him as Senator.
