There are some genetics that make one more likely to have certain types of cancer. Went through the process a few years ago with my wife who had a few cancer-related deaths in her family. Luckily it ended up just being a fatty tissue deposit. Needless to say the family doctor was pretty much worthless, and we went to Fox Chase in Philadelphia for an opinion. Typically it’s estrogen driven and it is often a side-effect of birth control pills.
In this case the cancer was triple negative meaning that none of the usual receptors were involved. The actual cause will likely never be determined.
