Could you give a source for your statement that Egyptian slaves were not chattel slaves? I know the myth of Charlton Heston overseeing the Jewish slaves as they build the pyramids is nonsense. They were in actuality paid workers and craftsmen. But were actual slaves as you state? Thanks

No I cannot, no a personal search engine or librarian. There are many sources out there - read up on Egyptian history - not the Bible or Hollywood, but actual historical works.

There were definitely chattel slaves in Ancient Egypt!
Like Josef.
In general see
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slavery_in_ancient_Egypt#:~:text=There%20were%20three%20types%20of,people%20of%20various%20social%20ranks.

Building pyramids may not be slave job, but that does not matter.

Yes, Egypt had slavery—But working on Tombs and monuments was an honor and a plum job. You got: 1. Meat every day (most Egyptians got in twice a month), 2. All the beer you could drink. 3. Best medical coverage in the ancient world. 4. Exemption from taxes for a year. 5. Housing. and here is the kicker—6. Eternal Life! In the land to come! This was open to both men and woman (Yes, men hauled the rocks but who made the beer and cooked all the food? Washed all the clothes? Women and it took an army of them. If the priests and rulers were pleased they got “gifts.” No—this was a good gig.

Do you even know what a chattel save is? With the lame wiki reference, you prove you do not know.

I read that in the late 1800s people would grind up mummies and stir the powder into their food and eat it. But then, in the 1920s radium was sold as a miracle drug.
