And do they attend to their allergies themselves to survive or ask the rest of the world to do it for them?
This is like a guy who can’t walk flopping himself on the ground and insisting they people carry him whereever he wants to go and whoever refuses is a jerk. Normally, such people take care of themselves first as best they can, by getting a wheelchair or what not.
In this article, however, we have someone with a problem who willingly enters the cabin which is already, supposedly, dangerously contaminated by opening peanut bags, yet has no protective gear donned whatsoever. They just announce their presence and all must cooperate.

Allergies are something no one has any control over.
I can absolutely guarantee you that she hates her sensitivity and would gladly be free of it in a heartbeat. Nobody with severe sensitivities wants them or likes them.
They endure them and curse them under their breath.
Asking people to hold off a couple hours on a snack would not have hurt anyone. It’s the height of discourtesy and self-centeredness to demand your way all the time simply because you think you have your “rights”.
Putting off a peanut snack a couple hours is not going to destroy that guy’s life. He was selfish and rude.
So why is it OK for the peanut eating guy to do the same?
You’re condemning the girl for doing the same thing you are lauding the peanut eating guy for.
Why should everyone bend for him and not her?
