A contempt resolution just sends it to the DOJ, who then decide on their whim whether to prosecute.
Congress wants to be responsible for nothing.
Rule-of-Law is an illusion.

If the GOP gets the House majority in 2022, they should require Holder to give testimony on Fast and Furious, and then when he refuses, have him arrested.

This is just another example why the vast majority of federal government needs to be shuttered. The deep establishment state needs to be destroyed. The few powers the constitution gives the federal government need to be retained, actually used and those agencies that remain need to be cleansed of anyone that has ever worked in government at any level for more than 12 years. Public service is not a career. It is not a way to get wealthy. It is not a retirement plan. Additionally, all public sector unions need to be outlawed. Every government position needs to be a hire and fire at will position. Given our current debt and inflation situation, all public sector jobs must pay less than the average wage in the private sector.
