There's a gay guy in the division I work (who also, perhaps, oddly enough is pretty conservative) but he absolutely HATES these Pride parades. He has an interesting perspective, he says gays worked for decades to be taken seriously and accepted into the mainstream, but a subset still insist on going out in the street and dredging up every outdated stereotype of the bare chested, leather chap wearing mustached guy prancing down the avenue.

He said "Gay Pride" parades in 2022 are the same as if the NAACP would put on a minstral show every year with blacks dressed in slave garb singing "Old Man River" and "Gonna Pick-a Bail-a Cotton"

The LGBT yada yada crowd has crossed the Rubicon with this one. Back in the day for your co-worker it was essentially about privacy. What consenting adults do in their homes was nobody else’s business, and I agree with that. But now they are dragging kids into this and that makes it a whole new ball game. This is instinctive. Looks what happens if you get between a bear or a gator or any number of other animals and their offspring. These creeps need to back down or there will be... real problems, just let me say that.
