I had an uncle fall and break his hip. He fell because he was sick with covid. He survived both, but he isn't what he was.

I posted early on that people dropping dead or fainting on the sidewalk wouldn't happen here, because we drive everywhere.

And if you think about the implications of people dropping dead or fainting while driving, it's not good.

So no, I don't think it's all ridiculous. If they were killed by someone else, then that would be ridiculous. But I'm sure covid caused some accidents, maybe even some suicides.
