I was well aware that bears could run fast, I didn't know that those big a$$ Moose had such giddy-up in them.

Reminds me of the joke, city boy is reading a farmer's sign that say's: "Don't enter, unless you can run to the other side of this corral, in under 10 seconds, the bull can do it in under 9 seconds, enter at your own risk!"

Yes sir, gives a whole new meaning to the word Cow-Punching.

Maybe that's where the phrase "WE have a runner," comes from. LOL

The cul de sac we live on has 2 herds of deer. People who don’t live in this area get reminded don’t get between a mama deer and her bambi.

Most are appreciative of the warning. Some smirk until we say what would you do if something/someone threatened your child or grand child.

The common answer is, “Kill them!”

Then, we remind them that the cute fawns have a protective Doe, aka Mamma Deer close by.

what an amazing video....been to Many Glacier but have not stayed at the hotel....

takes our minds off of all our troubles for sure.

about 3 yrs ago, coming back from Glacier, we passed Kalispell heading west and decided to take an adventure down a dirt road that would lead us basically to Thompson Falls....

suddenly in front of us a deer comes crashing thru being chased by a bear.....what a sight for sure....
