Two points, one political one human.
1. I had no problem with this article but then why did point 4 become an endless essay about Muslims, discrimination and diversity? Just seemed like an excuse for a diversity lecture. How long could this person have lived in Alabama and how quickly could they know that all people in NJ don’t discriminate?
2. I hate this stuff -
“He asked me if I was familiar with Taylor ham. I asked, “Taylor who?” He about choked and fell off his chair! I guess I’ve got a lot of eating to do.”
I might consider making it illegal to be That intolerant over food choices. /s
Seems like a huge exaggeration to me.

I guess that’s a journalistic requirement these days. Everything has to be linked to discrimination and diversity. For example, nothing is purer and cleaner than mathematics. Yet we are seeing tons of articles saying math discriminates, and is not diverse enough.
