By her body language and the look on her face, it appears the Karen is not a modern phenomenon.
Several years ago in Boston, the decayed body of a toddler girl was found, in a trash bag, at a local beach. Authorities worked to provide a working description of the young girl. The picture that emerged was of a beautiful young baby. Nobody came forth to discuss a missing girl of the description.
Some weeks following, a break in the case occurred. They found persons who identified the girl from the recreated model. They obtained pictures. The pictures of the little girl were amazingly similar to the artist rendition. I was amazed at the accuracy. I never really thought that such a thing could be possible, but the evidence was before us all. It was remarkable.
They reconstructed that child's likeness and arrested the parents well, the mother and her boyfriend, who each blamed the other for the murder.
Say what you want, but somebody loved her a lot to bury that necklace with her and everybody else feared that somebody a lot to not be graverobbing it on the sly.
A vintage 3 strand cognac amber necklace sells for $300-600 on ebay. I wonder if she made it herself?
OK then, that is pretty neat.
We have yet to see the men of that Bronze Age village.
