Justin Trudeau will join the list of dictators who forbid citizens from self-protection. “It will be illegal to buy, sell, transfer or import handguns anywhere in Canada,” Trudeau said, using the tragedy in Texas as his platform. “Other than using firearms for sport shooting and hunting, there is no reason anyone in Canada should need guns in their everyday lives.”

The cowardly armed cops in Uvalde, Texas, sat idle as the children were massacred. They even tasered desperate parents who tried to enter the school. Any parent would have attempted to eliminate the threat given the opportunity. The heroic teachers protected the children as best as they could, being unarmed, as help from the government (i.e., the cops) never arrived. The government is not here to protect you or your children.

Relinquishing guns is the first step toward becoming completely defenseless.

We're getting close, government refuses to enforce free and fair elections and courts are not enforcing laws.

I whole heartedly disagree, the 2nd ammendment is an everyday protect yourself daily thing, use it every day or lose it. I carry all the time.

Many government and judicial officials are TOO intimidated to challenge what is happening. It's textbook fascism.

If they were following a blueprint for achieving a dictatorial government, they could not BE more scrupulously ‘on track’

Not sure how that’s any different than what I said, but yes there isn’t a Democrat in the country that has one well meaning cell in his/her body. They’d institute a government with so many restrictions on freedom it would embarrass Kim Jong-un

But, you are correct. If anything could be said ‘tis this: all the restrictive laws have had the opposite affect. We have become less safe because of laws on firearms.
