The Bison was harassed by a human and acted in self defense.

Some people never learn (or fail to watch daily news about this same instance happening almost every day).
Hmm, maybe they should put up some 77 inch tv monitors every 5 feet with videos of idiots getting attacked. Maybe, just maybe, they will get the idea.

Guess she missed elementary school the day they went over domestic animals versus wild animals.

I visit a National Park a few times each year and I see people getting close to the animals all the time, despite signs posted : Feeding or Approaching Wildlife is Unlawful .
What’s really scary is when they get their small children too close, or allow their dogs too close. I used to hesitate reporting them to a ranger, but not anymore.

She tried to pet a 1,000 pound wild animal that’s one of the surviving species from the Ice Age. An animal capable of using its horns to fend off wolves. Yeah, that’ll work.

I've seen it over and over. When you enter the park you are given a pamphlet stating NOT to do this very thing. There are signs posted NOT to do this very thing. You read stories of people violating this and getting hurt.
Same way with the hot springs. Don't stick you hand in there. Stay on the path or you may hit a soft spot with hot mud and sink down.

No.
A Bison defended it’s self after being threatened by a woman in Yellowstone National Park.
There I corrected the headline

Happens almost every year. I grew up in Montana reading stories like this nearly every summer. Idiots think that because they love wild animals that the wild animals will love them back.

What’s really scary is when they get their small children too close, or allow their dogs too close. I used to hesitate reporting them to a ranger, but not anymore. Many years ago when people fed the bears a ranger at a Canadian park joined us for awhile at our campfire. I asked him the dumbest thing he'd seen tourists do. He told of a lady who smeared honey on her child to get a picture of a bear licking him. At the time I didn't believe him, seemed far too stupid. Today I do.

Flimsy wire too. A lunge he might have had a tasty, famous finger.

I have seen the exact same thing with Moose in northern NH.
People literally walking up to within 10-15’ of a moose(no, it did no bite my sister).
