1-Here’s a reminder that arguably the single biggest epidemic of our lifetime impacting at least 1 in 44 US kid (CDC), autism, has been systemically normalized so that we quit asking who and what is causing it.
2-The top govt. expert medical witness, a renowned pediatric neurologist (Zimmerman), has publicly linked some autism cases to vaccines, even though he was hired to defend vaccines and dispel a link. He said the DOJ subsequently covered up his opinion.
3-The top CDC vaccine expert acknowledged in an interview there might be a link between vaccines and autism.
4-The govt. secretly admitted and paid a settlement in a landmark vaccine-autism case, had it sealed, and then publicly told other parents they were crazy to suspect a link.
5-Since I have been vaccinated like crazy, esp. for work travel with military, and my child was fully vaccinated, I knew nothing of this until I was first assigned to cover vaccine issues for CBS News.
6-A current CDC senior scientist has acknowledged he and his colleagues covered up a vaccine autism link in a study of black boys in Atlanta.
*crickets*
7-When I began covering this issue it was clearly bombshell status. Other media were also covering it widely. Then came the partnership between media companies & pharma industry as they lobbied Congress to allow direct-to-consumer ads. No more news coverage of vaccine-autism...
8-...except one-sided stories published for the purpose of “debunking” the established link and controversializing the scientists who studied it and reporters who covered it...
9-Since then, every well meaning member of Congress (both D and R) who tried to schedule a hearing on vaccine-autism link has been controversialized by their party and peers and had the hearing cancelled.
10-Let’s not be tricked out of trying to figure out how to make things better and safer for all.
