Florida police released the mugshot of the 10-year-old boy they publicly arrested and perp walked for allegedly threatening a mass shooting at his elementary school.
Lee County Sheriff Carmine Marceno, who touts himself as Florida's 'law and order sheriff,' defended publicly exposing the juvenile by saying 'a child pulling a trigger equals the same aftermath.'
Daniel Issac Marquez, 10, was arrested Saturday and charged with making a written threat to conduct a mass shooting after sending a text about Patriot Elementary School in Cape Coral.
The boy's alleged text read: 'I scammed my friend' and included a Google image of money, according to his arrest report.
'I bought this,' he added a few seconds later, a included an image of four assault rifles.
Marquez then stated: 'Get ready for water day,' referencing a recent school-sponsored event in which students participate in water activities, like playing in sprinklers.
'He described wads of cash and 'get ready' to commit a mass shooting,' Marceno said of the text during a W radio interview Monday, adding: 'We don't wait one second. We investigate every threat as if it's real.'
'Every single threat is real. Every threat is real until you prove not,' Marceno added.
The sheriff also commented on the boy's very public arrest, saying that 'fake threats' result in 'real consequences.'
'I did a campaign. Fake threat, real consequence. While I understand the boy is 10 years old. His brain's not fully developed, he's a juvenile, I have to tell you. When a 10-year-old presses a trigger, the aftermath is the same regardless of the age,' the sheriff explained.

The only thing worse than police is no police at all and they are standing down like cowards. Americans have formed vigilance committees in the past when law enforcement were allied with the criminals. They were formed and criminals were executed en mass, it happened in San Francisco once and it will be happening again all over America it seems. They ought to form one in Uvalde and string up the puke that let their children be murdered while the cops stood down while collecting their salaries from the parents taxes.

I don’t this kid had any malicious intent, but to say he just joked that he bought 4 guns is not what happened.
How about banning idiots like this from having social media accounts until they are 18? It should be a first resort before drugs and counselling.
Things brings to mind that old saying “For evil to prevail good men must stand by and do nothing.. just like the cops did in Columbine, Parkland, and now Uvalde.

THAT, is the meaningful position to take. And don’t follow up with threats of 10 years in jail for what is obviously stupidity.
Keep in mind, too, that much of this grandstanding falls into the sphere of free speech — which includes offensiveness, stupidity, and just crappola. It is a human right to say stupid stuff — this is one of the clues to whether or not you are dealing with an adult.
Are stocks still considered cruelandunusual? Damn. This would be a perfect opportunity: “See little Jimmie tied up over there? That is the result of being stupid. Go pee on him.”

The standard is very, very high (most get my drift), and violation of said standard merits extrajudicial punishment with extreme prejudice when the time comes.
There is something very wrong when a sheriff’s department poses for a picture like this trying to look threatening with their weapons and all.
For some reason local law enforcement wearing masks to conceal their identity does not give me a warm fuzzy feeling.
