A statement like that has become almost impossible to verify.
When people are arrested in the USA, they are allowed to decide what racial or ethnic groups they belong to.
More and more Hispanics identify as white.
For instance - in Uvalde, TX - the Census Bureau states that 88% of residents are "White alone."
Five lines further down the page, the Census Bureau clarifies:
Hispanic or Latino - 82%
White alone, not Hispanic or Latino - 15%
When the FBI compiles nation wide race and ethnic crime statistics, it is simply not possible to judge their accuracy.
For instance, I have yet to read or see a MSM news report that identifies the Uvalde shooter as Hispanic.
And, I have yet to see a news report that identifies the race of each murdered child.
Compare and contrast that to what would happen if the Uvalde shooter had been a white European.
