Only a year ago, Ukraine was at peace and had you traveled there, you might have overheard Ukrainian leftists calling for similar gun bans and such.
Now, it's all hands on deck for every civilian with a firearm. Biden is sending 7000 light arms and 50 million rounds of ammunition with no magazine limits, no strings attached of registrations, sale transfer records, etc.
The world can change in a hurry and only a fool would accede to any government's demands of private gun divestiture.
I've been thinking about this a lot lately and not sure why more R's haven't pointed this out. Maybe put it to any leftist peers this way: "Do you think the gun control debate still exists in Ukraine?"
