so, then we must accept that the libertarian party platform is simply a bunch of lies, and therefore are a bunch of completely worthless statements regarding what the libertarian party stands for? that would therefore mean that there’s no way to divine WHAT the libertarian party stands for, which by the way is what most people pretty much suspect anyway ... according to you, they are correct in that assessment ... that’s good to know for a fact ...
They are not liars, they are scatter brained with their principles, but not on purpose, it is a residual.
Here is the problem. Just like the Republicans, Libertarians elect party officers who make statements opposite of what the majority wants once they are in power. This includes party officers who make statements like the open border statement on their website. That statement does not at all represent the whole, it is a statement from the representatives that many do not agree with.
What you accuse of would be would be like saying Mitt Romney speaks for all Republicans.
The major flaw with Libertarians is the deep set individualism and extreme effort to never be a part of a collective. It is like herding cats, they can never and will never agree on one combined goal as a concerted effort. Their strict individualism prevents this. Hence why they are are a failed party and fail to grow. Most are all about the individual Me, My, Mine in the now.
But they are not the only ones, I see this same in the Republican party too. No one gives a damn about the future of their Grandchildren, only their own selfishness and personal comfort in the now.
The Ron Paul Revolution and the Tea Party were the only times the Libertarians came together in a concerted effort and it was extremely effective.
