Given his recent positions, I'm not sure it was even much of a lesson to Steve Scalise.

The only conclusion we can draw is that politics are 99% theater and the vast majority of the results are prearranged - just like pro sports.

Yep... did that Belleville, Illinois Bernie Sanders supporter ever get sentenced? I don’t recall. But we should remind people of that mass shooting, which was aimed at taking out Pelosi’s opponents. And which was followed by a suspicious train wreck, that also could have taken out a lot of her opponents..
