This is outrageous... So yes, $54 billion is a lot of money especially when put in context.

Don't let anyone tell you differently!

It’s as if Ukraine has been annexed by the USA and now we are paying for all their military as well as welfare, pensions, food stamps, etc. May as well make them the 51st state.

It would be interesting to know how much of the costs for our foreign adventures go to greasing the palms of the local strong men.

Just the tip of the proverbial iceberg and one of many massive boondoggles by our great leaders.

Let’s see...
-Iraq
-Afghanistan
-Libya
-Syria
-Ukraine

That’s a quick short list and does not include the billions spent by the deep state to subvert sovereign nations around the globe.

Why the heck do you think Russia and soon-to-be China are bulking up to deal with this?

What a way to run a country!

Probably ‘cause the Biden/Clinton crime families were not yet firmly entrenched so as to skim the flowing money.

Another not so fun fact. The $54 billion spent on Ukraine’s border is more than we spend on our border.

Fun fact. By March 1964, after nine years of involvement in Vietnam, the US had committed approximately $27 billion (today’s dollars) in military and economic “aid” in:

Something may not be correct with the above date.

Case Closed: The Gulf of Tonkin Incident, Aug. 4, 1964

This article by Capt. Carl Otis Schuster, U.S. Navy (ret.) originally appeared in the June 2008 issue of Vietnam magazine. A National Security Agency report released in 2007 reveals unequivocally that the alleged Aug. 4, 1964, attack by North Vietnam on U.S. destroyers never actually happened.

In the first few days of August 1964, a series of events off the coast of North Vietnam and decisions made in Washington, D.C., set the United States on a course that would largely define the next decade and weigh heavily on American foreign policy to this day. What did and didn’t happen in the Gulf of Tonkin on August 2 and 4 has long been in dispute, but the decisions that the Johnson Administration and Congress made based on an interpretation of those events were undeniably monumental.

While many facts and details have emerged in the past 44 years to persuade most observers that some of the reported events in the Gulf never actually happened, key portions of the critical intelligence information remained classified until recently.
