None of their proposed “solutions” would have stopped this school shooter or almost all the others.
That’s how you know those orchestrating these policies are not really concerned with stopping school shooters but instead with:
1) concentrating power in the hands of the government which they think they will always control
2) sticking it to their political opponents....the basket of deplorables who vote against them
The rest who go along with the usual talking points are people who go for knee jerk emotional responses and don’t think through their positions. “WE HAVE TO DO SOMETHING!!!!!!!” Well, everything you suggest will only make things worse. “Don’t care! We have to DO something!!!!!!....that way we can feel like we “DID” something.”
Maybe back then, peanuts killed them off before they reached kindergarten.
Where’d you get those stats? thnx
lock up every mentally deficient person running around- that would be a start.
In the mid 80s, I gave a lecture at a PTA conference about the insidious influence of the NEA. It was not very well received, particularly by the teachers in attendance.
“Never Wrestle with a Pig. You Both Get Dirty and e Pig Likes it.”
Nice. That’s another keeper for future use.
We're too far gone for that. Insanity is mainstream. Homosexuals and all their iterations ("trans" trash, for example) are insane. But there's no way to unring that bell. Not until Jesus comes, anyway.
Liberals are insane, but look at how many of them walk among us.
You missed a great opportunity—instead of debating them you should have discussed the importance of putting a sign on the lawn:
“Save the children. Ban guns. There are no guns here.”
(Hopefully criminals passing by would notice—and know what to do next... :-) )
“We need to bring back mental institutions...”
Indeed we do.
I believe California was the first state to shut down state mental hospitals. Somebody figured it costs far less to release the nutjobs onto the streets and give them free counseling services, free medication, an EBT card with food stamps and cash, and a free Obama phone. And like everything else, it migrated east to the rest of the country.
Love your family, stay close to your church, keep involved with with school, teachers, lesson plans, community and neighborhood activities.
We grew up in the roughest kind of rural outpost, mixed races, transient population, booze, drugs, car wrecks, even killings. We didn't turn out perfectly (certainly not I) but I can still walk down the streets of that dusty little burg and pick out the families who tended to their flock and the ones who simply dropped away.
Of course you do the latter: you defend at the point of attack. No other course of action makes sense. The same principle is true here.
Great advice for the non-ferals. Trouble is we have a significant percentage of ferals.
Started way before obama.
I was unfriended by a fellow broadcaster that I had, and still have, enormous respect for because he didn’t like my opinions on political matters. My wife, a deep blue liberal (who has since marrying me purchased a Sig365 and obtained a concealed carry license!) has lost SEVERAL friends just because they are incensed that she’d associate, let alone MARRY, a conservative republican. Why does the left demand tolerance of divergent viewpoints and then actively persecute those with divergent viewpoints!??
“It started way before Obama.”
Yeah, no duh. I included the “Obama phone” because that’s what they give to them now in addition to everything else.

I hope the woman’s grandkids visit her in the home and laugh. What a harpie.
Ooh, better yet. Give her a big smooch and then ask if she’d gotten her 9th WuhanFlu fake vax — “’cause I’ve got Covid”.
In the early 90's I ran for school board and wrote dozens of Letters to Ed describing the problems with public schools and unions. I didn't win, I'm told my picture made it to the dart board in the teachers lounge, I did my part :)
You gave it your best. Kudos.
those numbers are old and need to be updated
been so many years that I forgot where I got them
perhaps the book Unintended Consequences
though it is fiction, it is filled with historical facts to support the importance of the 2nd Amendment
