At this point in NYC they’re angry that the replacement Americans are being installed in newer public housing while blacks languish in crumbling units. When they take the subway they are surrounded by foreigners; they can’t recognize this country any more than many of us can.

Actually, COVID was the hail-mary pass. Trump set their plans back for many years, and now people can clearly see what’s going on because they had to speed up their timetable to get where they needed to be.
