You made ignorant noise about TOYOTA’S STRATEGY. I told you to go should get smart on that so you would not spew your stupid dribble. Then for the next several posts you run your month about Tesla. I reminded you we were talking about Toyota. And then the very next post you talk about Tesla. This is like trying to have a conversion with a brain dead rock.

This thread happens to be about Tesla not Toyota. You came in babbling about Toyota (which is getting clobbered in EV’s by Tesla in both Europe and America), and claimed Toyota had a strategy to beat Tesla. Well they don't.
Toyota was in EVs before Tesla came in and crushed them. Toyota has done nothing that even comes close to being able to compete with Tesla in any way.
If you are privy to any “strategy” that will beat Tesla from Toyota, please let us know will ya?

I gave you a chance to go get smart about Toyota's electric vehicle strategy. You choose to remain stupid and issue foolish noise. You don't know what you don't know and that is why you make a compete and utter fool out of yourself.

"You don't know anything about Tesla. "

How do you know that imbecile? I actually know quite a bit about Telsa.

What did the dumb** say about Toyota? You said "They have no strategy" and "and claimed Toyota had a strategy to beat Tesla. Well they don't." WRONG! What clueless, ignorant noise.

People who are concerned about having to pay for a $25,000 battery 5 years later. TOYOTA'S SOLID STATE BATTERY STRATEGY WINS.
People concerned about their vehicle going up in a giant fire due to lithium batteries. TOYOTA'S SOLID STATE BATTERY STRATEGY WINS.
People wanting an electirc vehicle but worry about being able to charge it on long trips. TOYOTA'S HYBRID STRATEGY WINS.
People who don't want to wait weeks and months to get their cars repaired at insane costs. TOYOTA'S STRATEGY WINS.
People who want a choice of more than a few models to chose from. TOYOTA'S HUGE LINE OF BOTH HYBRIDS AND PURE EV's STRATEGY WINS.

I've built my own electric bikes for over 10 years. I can design BMS's. I make my own battery packs. What about you dumba**?

"Toyota's Solid-State Battery Prototype Could Be an EV Game Changer" https://www.motortrend.com/news/toyota-solid-state-battery-ev-2021/

Solid state batteries - far superior to Tesla's OLD TECH fire hazard lithium batteries. Toyota is currently a world leader in solid state battery technology.

"However, it seems Toyota had a plan all along. It wasn’t waiting in vain, hoping that fuel cell electric vehicles would become affordable enough to rival battery electric vehicles - Toyota was actually developing a kind of energy storage solution that for many years had been touted as a game changing piece of tech."

"From an end user’s point of view, a solid state battery will drastically reduce recharging times, making the experience not that much longer than the act of filling an ICE vehicle up with fuel. Toyota says that its new SUV will be fully charged from flat in 10 minutes and that this will grant it a range of 500 km."

"Toyota, in partnership with Panasonic, currently has more than a thousand patents covering solid-state batteries"

"Toyota FINALLY Solid State Battery Technology could change the game In vehicles" "Toyota was once the leader in electric vehicles. However, the Japanese carmaker lost the plot and squandered its lead but now Toyota is coming back for its lost crown with its secret new solid-state battery will the solid state battery return Toyota to the front of the pack" https://theinfogurunews.com/2021/12/toyota-finally-solid-state-battery/

"Solid-state batteries have not been able to hold up under typical driving conditions. And repeated charge, discharge cycles are another issue. So Toyota having conquered those major hurdles is a game-changer for battery-powered vehicles. And there are so many advantages if Toyota can make an EV capable of handling day-to-day driving situations. "

"Lithium-ion batteries use liquid electrolytes. Going with a solid material increases the range of temperatures batteries can function in. And, it makes for a much less flammable battery. Plus, they can charge much faster and give more power. So this really satisfies many of the downsides consumers see."

"On the other hand, Toyota is the world’s first maker to guarantee its EV battery will retain 90 percent of its rated range after 10 years. That’s a real plus for first-time buyers concerned about range loss since it’s one of the main concerns of those considering an EV. To date, very few makers have guaranteed battery capacity in their EVs, and none for 10 years. "

Tesla - bigger, heavier, slower charging, and fire hazards. Toyota has a FAR SUPERIOR battery strategy that they spent years developing.

"Toyota has said it will release 50 new purely electric models by 2025."

Hybrids - A winning strategy for those like me who like like the best of both worlds.

"Range Anxiety Is Very Real, New J.D. Power EVs Survey Find"

Teslas are NOTORIOUS for people having to wait weeks and months to get their cars fixed at insanely expensive costs. Read some of the HORROR stories here:

"Tesla’s body damage repair cost and time is insane. It needs to be fixed." https://provscons.com/teslas-body-damage-repair-cost-and-time-is-insane-it-needs-to-be-fixed-reference/ "The thing about owning a Tesla no one talks about — nightmarish repair delays"

"Consumer Reports Still Ranks Tesla Reliability 27th Out Of 28" "For reference, in a J.D. Power Vehicle Dependability Survey published earlier this year, Tesla was ranked 30th out of the 33 included brands."

Toyota and Lexus were ranked 5 and 6 in reliabilty.

"First, Toyota has a proven, highly-efficient operating model that will allow the company to produce new models at attractive costs and with strong built quality -- things Toyota is already famous for. Second, Toyota has a massive global network of fabrication plants, dealer networks, service centers, and so on. This will allow the company to grow production quickly across several geographic markets, and its massive dealer network should allow the company to push its new EV models into many markets at the same time."

"For the sake of summary, there were a lot of big-production and big-dollar promises. In the 25-minute media briefing, Toyoda set a goal of 3.5 million battery-electric vehicles a year by 2030 (out of Toyota’s 10 million total globally), through no fewer than 30 different Toyota and Lexus models in all market segments. And in total, he pledged a whopping $70 billion toward electrification."

Telsa sales are SLOWING. Massive new competion is COMING.

" The list of automakers’ global EV commitments seems to swell every month. Here’s our list, in ascending order and current at the time of this writing: Nissan: $18 billion, Ford: $30 billion, Stellantis: $35 billion, GM: $35 billion, and Volkswagen: $59 billion." "Then came Toyoda’s $70-billion announcement that tops that of any other OEM."

LEARN to keep your mouth shut when you are clueless, it'll save you much embarrasment.

Is this huge cut and paste Toyota propaganda a joke?
The bottom line: Tesla is totally CLOBBERING Toyota in EV sales in Europe and America and even in China as we speak, despite Toyota starting EV production long before Tesla.
Every single big auto maker including GM, Ford, VW, Toyota , the Koreans and the Chinese have announced massive new investments in new EV plants going back years, yet Tesla INCREASED US market share last year and has waiting lists for their cars going up to 12 months in some cases. There is a waiting list of a massive over 1 million for Tesla's new Cybertruck coming out next year.
No one has shown the smarts, agility and speed of Tesla least of all Toyota.
What more you got?

Telsa sales are SLOWING. Massive new competion is COMING.

Yeah?

TSLA today: $706.10 USD +47,30 (7,18 %)today
Market cap: $729.35B

Toyota today: 165.52 USD +4,49 (2,79 %)today
Mkt cap : $269.57B

GM today : 37,55 USD +1,55 (4,31 %)today
Mkt cap : $54.71B

Who is “slowing “ and who is growing faster?
Tesla has over TEN TIMES the market cap of GM and over nearly THREE TIMES the market cap of Toyots.
And Tesla market cap is still growing FASTER as at today.
Chuckle.
What more you got clown?

Cutting and pasting massive Toyota propaganda from somewhere doesn't prove sh*t. You keep proving you dont know much about Tesla every post you make.

You said Toyota had NO STRATEGY.

I said Toyota has no strategy to beat Tesla. That is a fact. Tesla is running all over Toyota with a Tesla 70% US market share in 2021.

See, you just proved how clueless you are gain. Sales volume does not directly equate to current stock price. AND YET THAT IS WHAT YOU JUST POSTED. If that was true, then Tesla’s sales volume MUST have fallen by half, since their stock has fallen by half, from over 1200 to the recent low of 628.

You just can’t help yourself from being stuck on stupid and stepping in it.

Do you understand that strategy is for the future? Obviously not else you would not be comparing current market share. The stupid never stops.

Sales volume does not directly equate to current stock price

Actually, I did not even mention sales volume in my post.
Stock price growth has to do with sales now/growth, profits now/growth, future growth prospects etc etc. Tesla is clobbering Toyota in all the metrics that matter in EVs.

AND YET THAT IS WHAT YOU JUST POSTED.

Where is that posted at?
Show us will ya?

If that was true, then Tesla's sales volume MUST have fallen by half, since their stock has fallen by half, from over 1200 to the recent low of 628.

Tesla market cap is still nearly THREE times that of Toyota, despite Toyota having vastly more car sales than Tesla. Chew on that troll.

Toyota only came up with this “strategy” today?
Toyota and other big legacy auto have been babbling about "strategies” lo beat Tesla for years, and they are still getting clobbered by Tesla.
Now everyone(including VW and GM) keep saying they will beat Tesla by 2024. Only thing is, Tesla just keeps getting stronger and eating their lunch. Chuckle.

Did you even read your own post?

You mentioned sales right here and then went into your stupid noise about market cap.

"Telsa sales are SLOWING. Massive new competion is COMING. Yeah?"

Toyota had $286 BILLION of revenue and $22 billion of gross profit, DWARFING Tesla. But you are clueless and think market cap tells the tale. IT DOES NOT.

By comparison, Tesla GREW revenues by 80% in Q1 2022 and profits by a massive 657% in Q1 2022 as well.
That’s why Tesla has a vastly bigger market cap than Toyota.
Get it?

I can cherry pick and paste meaningless dribble too:

"Tesla sold 7,306 Model X in 2021. In 2020, Tesla sold 31,000 Model X. They sold 23,694 more units in year 2020 compared to 2021 with a percent loss of 76.43% YoY. "
