@ggreenwald

The combined House/Senate vote total on Biden's $40 billion war package to Raytheon, Lockheed Martin and CIA "for Ukraine":

DEMS: 266-0

GOP: 198-68

INDEPENDENTS: 2-0

All dissent is from the GOP. Every last Dem (plus Sanders) voted YES. Not even one token NO vote for the left.

How are anti-war progressives dealing with this vote I wonder? Where is Code Pink, etc?

If it was a Republican president you can bet Sanders would be apoplectic. He is such a shameless partisan.

Jimmy Dore is more old fashioned working poor left. He stopped being a Sanders fan boy when Sanders caved so easily to Clinton’s election thievery.

The 40bn is just the start. McConnell didnt rule out more either.

It’s a new money pit. They needed something to replace Afghanistan and now they have it.

Wonder how much kick back they’ll get on this vote....there always is one. Just figuring out who made the best deal.

Biden/Obama don’t see it as OUR money - their only concern is ways and means to keep it flowing out of our pockets and into the washing machines for distribution among themselves - in one form or another. Ukraine’s the biggest Washing Machine on the planet next to the UN and Haiti.

I like Jimmy. His type of liberal, and our type of conservative, can find a lot of common ground, a more populist common ground. I personally wouldnt prefer it if his type took over the Dems, and our types took over Repubs, then duke it out for the rest of the agenda.
