You have posed an interesting question that has many facets. The city itself would be clean, free of needles, poop and tent cities, it would also be swept clean of personal freedoms.

It would be great if all people were moral, upright and personally responsible and sadly, many are not like that, but would I wish to substitute those low behaviors for a police state, no, I don’t think so. There is a tragedy in cities like SF but an even larger tragedy would be to enact communist/Nazi tactics in cleaning it up.

Yeah...my thought is the “homeless” people (read mentally ill) will be dispatched immediately. Next up, they would take out all of the hipsters as so they couldn’t join forces against them. A lot of dead hippies but no poop on the streets. Which would you choose?
