I lost all respect when they turned anti Second Amendment. I’m glad I never got their coffee. I get my coffee from a local store that gets it from a local roaster.

the whole company was essentially a branding scam to start with, trying to appeal to a niche group with brand names specifically designed to appeal to that niche group, yet providing no particularly better/cheaper product than available from a plethora of other vendors ...

He said he would pay customers who supported the Proud Boys against Antifa to stop buying his coffee. The quotes were very clear in the article, which Hafer never directly addressed. He and his “Bro-vet” clown partners went around belittling anyone who was critical of the article. I was a subscriber to their coffee club, not because I thought I needed their coffee, but because I thought they were solid defenders of freedom and supported their cause. My biggest takeaway? I will never again buy a product based on a perceived cultural stance.

“I favor Pete’s..”

The best, ever. Alfred Peet started roasting coffee in Berkeley in 1966 and today Peet’s is still the best. Starbucks purchased Peet’s company in 1985 but left it alone, since Jerry Baldwin learned from Alfred before opening his Starbucks in Seattle in 1971. Starbucks has poor quality which is not a secret. And Costco got Starbucks started by placing it in all the stores in the 1970’s.
BRC sounds like a typical gimmick: all sizzle and no steak.

“an said, “White people should be ashamed for our silence!”

People dont believe me when I say that I have not eaten at CFA the past 4 YEARS now, AND COUNTING. They went woke even back 2018 when they caved to the faggots. That’s just sick. What a gutless wimp caving to a ghetto animal.

Here in Hollywood there’s IN N out and CFA 2 blocks apart. Guess who I go to?

It may be worse than it looks. The immediate topic is why share prices spiked and then went down to below IPO. Shareholders are alarmed that the company is suddenly listing losses that it never had before. This sequence (and the alleged but unproven claim that Hafer himself took two stock actions amounting to $89 million) would naturally draw the SEC's attention.

But that isn't the real problem. The real problem is that the company is apparently experiencing a customer revolt of remarkable proportions due to (1) the Rittenhouse affair, BRCC backing off because the young fellow was, after all, an accused murderer at the time, but it was to BRCC's customers an act of cowardice; and (2) Evan Hafer's calamitous NYT interview during which he alienated large portions of his customer base by broad-brushing us as everything his NYT interviewer intended: racist, antisemitic extremists. His subsequent "clarification" only made matters worse.

The Rittenhouse duck-and-cover was not only humiliating but a clear indication that Hafer's analysts and marketeers didn't have a clue as to their own existing customer base and how we might and did react. The interview was the killer, though. After that there was no turning back, and the best advice was to shut up and let the thing blow over if it would. It didn't, at least not by the time the IPO happened. The timing for that was, under the circumstances, unfortunate to say the least.

So now their market cap is down to survival level. They will either need to make it up in the Bidenflation market - good luck with that - or sell enough beans to get the profits back up. For that they need customers. Maybe it would be a good idea not to insult them?

What’s it called,

Arabica coffee. As you can see from the bag, it's not branded.

and where can a person obtain some?

Go on vacation to Laos?

My wife and I have a friend from there and we order from her (about $10 a pound...and that's in Thailand, don't have any idea how expensive it would be in the States)

I'm not trying to be a smart-ass, but I don't know how you'd get some in the States. Laos coffee is pretty unknown outside of SE Asia.

Sturgis goes for 2 weeks. Cant drink alcohol in the morning even though bars never close. I remember the Trump tent were serving really good coffee and grits and another where hot biker chicks in string bikinis were serving it.

Well, ummm Trumo can wait...

Not this. That coffee is about 3x as expensive as the stuff I get.

I'll stick with my locally roasted coffee. Alaska Artisian Coffee is best known for their Outhouse blend, but it's a dark roast and I prefer medium.

LOL yup. Rittenhouse can buy them up with the money he has from the trial donations. Last time I read it reached into 2 million before Paypal cut him off, and GiveSendGo gave the rest.

They were all over Sturgis but most people stayed away. Bikers know fakers.

I’m having trouble recalling. Didn’t they also make some fairly vicious statements about conservatives at Jan 6 and questioning the election?

Thanks for posting about Stocking Mill coffee. I thought I’d bookmarked the site back a few years ago when I’d decided not to order from Black Rifle. Apparently I didn’t. Then, old ageism set in and I couldn’t remember the name. I’ve now got the place back on my radar.
