Are you saying side effects if ‘allopurinol’ are cataracts ?

I’ve been taking Alup. for maybe 8 years now. Had to have cataract surgery 4 years ago and the other eye last year.

My blood work doesn’t suggest anything wrong with my kidney. What should I look for ?

I love bacon and sausage. That was problematic before the Alup.

I was told by some old man years ago to stay away from ‘innards’ of animals including canned sardines and oysters.
