It’s just hard because he’s the first child for them and first grand for me. My head was saying, “No worries, babies get sick.” My heart was sick with worry. I know Covid is not a danger to kids, still, I didn’t like that positive test.
I talked with my son to keep him company as he watched over the little guy all night. Cool baths and tylenol have kept the fever down today so that tightness in my chest is better. He’s eating, drinking and peeing so all the important bodily functions are good, lol.
