Weekend Update: Eddie Murphy on the Draft - SNL (Bring the 'Token Black'") (Vido)
Before leftists destroyed it.
Hahahahahahaha!
Back when people were starting to grow a mature sense of humor about race relations
“That was groovy thinkin’, Lincoln, when you set them free…”
Thanks. That was enjoyable. I listen to Joe Piscopo’s conservative radio show every morning at 6am & his Sinatra show on Sundays at 6pm.
I thought Paul did this with “Mike” Jackson.
I’d forgotten, that duet was for ‘The Girl Is Mine”.
Back then was when somebody talked Stevie Wonder into wearing those damn beaded braids. He held onto those tacky braids long after he had become mostly bald. Not his best look.
“Take back Eddie Murphy, Take back Joe Piscapo....” Tom Petty.
Tom was not so cool after all. Too bad.
Joe has a show? Please tell! I’m a fan.
Joe Piscopo Morning daily show on AM970 The Answer 6-10am
Joe Piscopo’s Sinatra Radio show on WABC Sundays 6-8pm.

😎
This is silly.
Joe Piscopo put on a show at a casino our area when it was Sinatra’s 100th birthday. He brought a huge orchestra & dressed up like Sinatra in a tuxedo. Great show.
“knew they had the perfect Stevie Wonder for a parody sketch in Eddie Murphy. “
Stevie never saw it coming.
He couldn’t see what he looked like so he didn’t care :D
[*Bass thump/cymbal crash*]
I was in my late teens in early 80s working in health club where Piscapo and Eddie Murphy regularly worked out. Piscapo was an extremely nice guy. Always respectful, worked out hard and just gave off a good guy vibe. Murphy was very reserved. Some would say shy even. He was usually surrounded by a bit of an entourage. He was never a jerk or demanding. Just much more quiet.
Piscapo has a NY radio show now. Pretty conservative red pill guy.
This sketch could not/would not be done now. Communism has destroyed SNL comedy.
You’re right, but “Say, Say, Say” was the even much bigger hit with Michael Jackson. Funny the way it faded into the abyss. Of course, as popular as the single was, it was from the much less popular “Pipes of Peace” album by McCartney, rather than “Thriller” by Jackson.
