I looked at some of the video footage.
It’s very grainy, but it appears the biker in the chase has a white helmet.

Other reports say the dude they were after was seen with a gun. Barreto had no gun. I really think they got the wrong guy.

For what it's worth, plain as day - blue bike, red helmet, white on the brim....both the guy in the surveillance video, and the guy at the pump. None of the bikers in the video have an all white helmet.
