The solution is self-evident to anyone who’s ever read census figures. Certain parts of the Ukraine that are Russophone should be returned to Russia.
If all these places want to be Russian so badly, why did they break off from the Motherland in the first place? Hell, I bet almost half their populace was around when it happened!

They were stapled onto the Ukraine by Khrushchev in the 50s and then signed over by during the breakup of the Soviet Union. The locals were not consulted. Ukrainia Irredenta is not part of the deal.
