EVs today are similar to the EVs in 1895, which were a fad, lasted 10-12yrs, and were eclipsed by the steam engined-vehicles, and finally by Ford’s line-up in the early 1900s.
It’s merely a fad, and without the massive, massive infrastructure to support that EV junk (styling notwithstanding), will disappear into oblivion in a decade. Pity that so many mfgrs worldwide are wasting resources on it.

Explaining Jeep’s Reliability Score
Jeep actually rose several spots on the Consumer Reports list for the 2021 model year, due reliability improvements in newer or redesigned models. The brand’s Gladiator pickup truck was deemed very reliable in its first year, and the Jeep Wrangler also saw improvements in reliability as well.
RepairPal helps car owners find peace-of-mind with free, custom repair estimates, cars overviews, and recommendations to local, fair car repair shops. RepairPal gives Jeep a reliability rating of 3.5 out of 5.0, which ranks it 15th out of 32 for all car brands.
This rating is based on an average across 345 unique models. The average annual repair cost for a Jeep is $634, which means it has above average ownership costs.
Few realize EVs were invented decades before gas powered engines.
I always thought that it would be hilarious if after EVs are forced to be widespread that hydrogen or something else would finally be ready for primetime. Just imagine a vast wasteland of charging stations that nobody needs anymore.
“It’s merely a fad”
Keep that thought as the meter on the gas pump goes past $1000 while a Tesla can be fueled for $10.
