I don’t think the severity of what’s coming is yet grasped.

It’s what our parents and grandparents tried to warn us about, but much worse.

It’ll be good if that scarcity includes Demonicrats.

“this should be an Age of Abundance, and it was — under President Trump!...”
That’s only partially true. Trump put in place a lot of policies that made things better, but there were serious underlying problems that Trump never even tried to address that were going to lead us to economic disaster sooner or later.
For example, Trump didn’t do anything to shrink the deficit, unfunded entitlement spending, reign in money printing by the Fed, or stop the shell games that we have been playing to prop up the housing and stock markets well past their natural points of correction. Creating jobs, increasing GDP, reducing our trade gap, those are important too, but if the real underlying causes of the coming disaster aren’t addressed, none of those efforts will stop it. Maybe delay it a little, but not stop it.

How about first removing from the planet those with the largest carbon footprint, aka rich liberals.

It will be interesting when people go to the grocery store and come back empty-handed, because of the scarcity of food. Meanwhile, you will have spent $6 per gallon for the trip, and no food to show for it.

I think there may be some isolated shortages/outages but mostly we'll have adequate supplies.
Now....you may not be able to afford them!
At some point, the government will send money similar to the stimulus checks through the IRS for lower income people.

Yeah, cheaper at least. We’d probably still have higher prices due to inflation, but not the deadly combo of inflation + scarcity + overregulation.

Trump did an amazing job. He shored up the foundations as first priority and would have addressed other issues in his second term.
