I checked the website in the wee hours of this morning, before heading to bed. It still showed you had to download the phone app. It still showed the photo of the cell phone on the home page, no option to register. I see the page now gives you the option to create an account, but did you also have to download an app to your computer? If so, I’m not really willing to do that. I’m not a social media person to begin with. Never did Twitter, Facebook, etc. Tried Parler, Gab and Gettr, but deleted them earlier this year when Trump announced Truth Social. Still not sure I want to join. I don’t actually find anything redeeming about social media sites. FR offers all the socializing I care to do. I’d rather be reading a book, or doing something else. Any time I waste going through repetitive crap on a social media site is time I’ll never get back in my life.
nope, no app. Just created an account on the website. The difference about this, IMO, is that it’s like FR in that most are conservative. If you’ve been canceled or reprimanded on FB, etc just for being Christian or Conservative, TS is a breath of fresh air.
