Kind of sounds like if you plan on doing something “Covid-crazy” that taking a booster shot a couple weeks in advance might not be a bad idea. Otherwise, it sounds like you may wait.

I wonder if the recent CDC announcement on waiting for just before the fall likely Covid wave might be connected to this kind of analysis.
