Francesca will be a lot smoother on the phone when she calls Hank later on ;)
A lot of people looking at the stars tonight :-D
LOL! - Yup.
Dark Winds looks interesting. Can’t say that for a lot of AMC shows.
Kim was on her way to a promising future ... and made a u-turn back to Jimmy. This probably won't end well. But it was her decision.
Yeah. I’m just more than a little confused on what they’re trying to pull off.
the drug in the eye dropper, to be used on Howard based on the post-its.
She thinks it’s gaudy.
BCS tonight, have a couple questions.
Kimmy as a young girl, gets caught stealing a pair of earings and a necklace.
Ok, she returns them. They total around $35?
Money offers $13, says she’ll pay the rest when her daughter pays her.
Then in the car, the mother shows off the new earings that she gives her daughter?
In other words...
The mother puts Kimmy up to steal the jewelry, then the mother gets to buy the pieces for only $13. That’s the jest of it, right?
Question? Mike has rented a house next to the daughter in law to keep an eye them?
Question: I’m confused about the latest scheme to fool Howard. What is the film crew doing?
Sorry, I must have dozed off or gotten distracted. I don’t remember that scene last night.
Yes, and probably why Kim grew up on the straight and narrow. Last night was my least favourite of this season.
“he doesn’t know why Jimmy is doing any of this.
Neither do we ... yet.”
Aren’t Jimmy and Kim doing this to accelerate closing the Sandpiper case — and a big payoff?
In any case, for a while now I’ve found myself rooting for Howard. Kim has become positively scheming and mean, and Jimmy now is taking her lead.
Howard has been blamed for decisions that Chuck actually made.
“Dark Winds looks interesting.”
We think so, too. Zahn McClarnon s good in Longmire. I don’t know if he’s back as Mathias or a new character.
“probably why Kim grew up on the straight and narrow.”
In an earlier season one scene was Kim as a little girl waiting outside of school for her loser neglectful mother to pick her up. Mom was a piece of work — booze / drugs / slut? Got so mad that she walked home carrying her cello.
The impression I got was the opposite of straight and narrow.
My point was Kim seeing her mom all a mess was why she decided to be a straight arrow, not that her upbringing was such.
That makes sense. Mom scared her straight — at least for a while.
The mom offered to pay, but never intended to pay. She could tell the manager/owner was a softy. He wouldn't take her money, especially when she told him the $13 was all she had.
Watching the scene again ... It wasn't some elaborate plan like I thought. Kim was caught shoplifting--maybe on purpose. She didn't want the earrings and necklace. She wanted her mom's attention.
She wanted her mom to be just as mad at her as she pretended to be in the store. A normal loving parent would be that mad.
The first thing Kim did as they were leaving the store was hold her mom's hand.
The first thing her mom did was let go of Kim's hand and laugh.
Not only did her mom NOT care that Kim was shoplifting-- she rewarded her behavior by stealing the earrings herself. "Relax. You got away with it."
That's messed up.
That scene truly was totally messed up.
That mother is a piece of work. Rhea looks pretty trashy playing that role. (It is her, right?)
