I really enjoyed the cinematography in this film; on par with rear window, although the 70’s multi screen effect always turns me off, they did a fantastic job. And the actors were the perfect choice.
One of the interesting things about that movie, is that it accurately displayed in both equipment used and the portrayal of their use in trying to pin down the pathogen the state of the art at that time when the movie was made.
He consulted with the top experts of the time, and actually purchased the real equipment they would go on to use in the making of the movie, and it made a big to do because of the inordinate amount of money he spent on it (the backers were upset IIRC).
