With modern DNA testing they could figure out whose vomit killed the second drummer.
True, but you still can't dust for vomit.
Well, when you can’t get anything new rolling, sequelize!
They need to include Fran Drescher as Bobbie Flekman, now head of ___________ Records.
I think he is retired, but Michael Caine would be good as their tough manager. Maybe Anthony Hopkins would do it.
I thought Micheal McKean was in bad shape from getting hit by a car in NYC a few years back. If I remember the story correctly. Glad he has recovered.
“It’s blowin’ peace and freedom. It’s blowin’ you and me.”
I think Ringo is available.😏
The braces-wearing wife in that couple played Dr. Smith in the Lost in Space reboot, and was fantastic. She brought that same undercurrent of “I’m right in the edge and may snap at any time” to the role. You never knew if she was actual helping the Robinsons or screwing them over at a given point, because she did both.
Yes, we enjoyed her in Lost in Space as well.
It is still one of the funniest movies ever made, IMHO. Don’t know if this sequel will be any good though. I have my doubts.
In ‘84, rock bands were still part of popular culture. Today, no one — not even me — remembers The Band.
More relevant would be about aging rappers.
It’s different days now; if reiner directs, expect some wokeness BS. I’ll pass.
I think too much time has passed. A sequel might have worked in the 90’s. Reiner was able to make the original essentially non-political - but I doubt he will be able to restrain himself this time.
Same here. We first saw it in a nearly empty theater during its initial release. The aging hippies in front of us had no idea if they should be amused or offended and kept flipping back and forth. Between them and the film, I could barely keep it together.
