They may be woke as individuals, but at the end of the day they are a business. They need subscribers to join. Perhaps they are just making a business decision that “hey, we can’t let this stuff influence our content choices”.

Well, losing three quarters of your stock’s value can wake people up. I have also read they have laid off quite a few employees, many of whom relocated just months ago to work there and they are now very bitter. Many of these hires were the affirmative action type.
