But I just don’t believe it. What would be the end result, and how do you trace who had what money, and prevent it from leaving the control area? Maybe the scientists’ children or wives themselves would get it... Who would risk THAT, even if they’re as evil as the Russians say?

I don’t believe the Ukraine is a democracy I don’t believe it’s worth fighting for and I don’t believe Russia or Putin are communist bent on world domination like in my youth it’s simply a condo hard but so many people here are vested in that I’ve never seen anything like this where conservatives or at least people who purport to be conservative just don’t give a shit anymore who would ever think half of this forum and Chuck Schumer and George Soros and William Kristol And Nancy Pelosi and CNN and the New York Times and the United Nations and the European Union would all be on the same page
I’ve only seen one Ukraine war supporter aching for a confrontation with Russia that can elucidate their views with a whole lot and it presented with alternative information they simply dismiss it as lies like Patrick Lancaster he’s alive he’s been in the Don bass for eight years reams of video of atrocities from both sides dismissed by people who don’t leave their basement

Turn your critical thinking back on. Although there are many topics where conservatives disagree with the ideas of people like Kristol, Pelosi, and Soros there are also some areas that just about every educated person in the world agrees on. Let's take one simple example. Do you think that people who lack skin pigmentation are witches?
There are a few places in the world where people that lack skin pigmentation are persecuted and sometimes killed since they are considered to be witches. Sad but true.
I am sure that George Soros, CNN, the editors of the NY Times, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, and just about every left wing pundit, politician, or celebrity in the USA would not lead an effort to kill people who lack skin pigmentation in case they were witches. And I am also sure that it would be hard to find many, or even any Freepers who would condone or advocate for killing people because they lack skin pigmentation.
In reality you have seen thousands of "things" where conservatives and leftist fools both agree. You just don't think about them much.
In the case of Ukraine it seems easier for some people to reflexively side with Russia since what they are doing is opposed by liberals. But everyone should be opposed to what Russia is doing in Ukraine, because regardless of political issues invading a neighboring country and wantonly destroying civilian property and killing civilians is wrong. And even if you think invading another nation is acceptable, most people can't support the Russian soldiers who are raping women, stealing property, and killing civilians for no legitimate reason regardless of their political orientation.
