#40. Well, since the Russians can't handle the Ukrainian Rubberband Armor Guards or the Motorized Hamster Rifles, they have no business invading anything!

What are the Urkrainian army casualties to date?

#52. Back to reality. Both sides are guarded about their own losses while promoting the losses of the other side. My guess is casualties are proportional to equipment losses.

Oryx is using open source intelligence to track both Russian and Ukrainian vehicle losses. To date they have tracked 3,623 Russian and 1,021 Ukrainian vehicle losses in total, a ratio of 3.6 to 1 in Ukraine's favor. a ratio of 3.3 to 3.6:1 has been consistent since this war started.

Numbers of causalities for both sides are hard to figure out. Wikipedia's entry, Casualties of the Russo-Ukrainian War, has 224 links so far. Ukrainian casualties estimates range from 4,000 to 7,000 KIA, 10,000 WIA, and 13,000 to 30,000 civilians killed. Russian army losses vary from 10,000 to 25,000 KIA, unknown WIA.

My view is it will take Ukraine a year or two to drive Russia out, but they will do it. The Russian military simply has too many extreme weaknesses to overcome.
