Understand. Just so you know ... Walking Dead is not really just about zombies. The zombies become an incidental background aspect of the series.

I originally had the same reaction as you - another stupid show where they capitalize on zombies etc. But WD like Breaking Bad is its own animal and well written.

Walking Dead is about survivalists in a post-apocalyptic world.

Oh, I get that. I realized that the zombies were simply a tool for what I perceive as laziness, in that it simply allowed them to set up scenarios.

I did just get bored with it after a while...which is also why I found the Zombieland movies so hilarious! Good stuff...:)

I especially liked the Bill Murray mansion scene...!
