Yope, while Ukraine is being bombed by Russia, they need few thousands bean counters to account for every penny spend! There is an all out war going on! The whole cites are raised to the ground. Thousands are dead. How can you account for everything?

You obviously can't, and the people squawking about this know that. It's just another effort to do whatever they can to see Russia win. "Well, if you can't prove that all this money was spent properly, you can't send them any more military supplies" is basically the message.

I think it becomes a vastly different issue whenever this war ends and Ukraine comes begging for reconstruction funds. But right now, we can see that the Ukrainians are actually fighting back against the invaders, without any US combat troops involved. That seems an endeavor worth supporting to me.
