“That is a reality, think Arab Spring in Egypt, Libya, Syria, where we successfully overthrew 2 leaders...”

The US didn’t do shit to overthrow Gaddafi. The Libyans overthrew Gaddafi.

Gaddafi messed up when he ordered his troops to shoot Libyan college students. That’s what doomed Gaddafi and started the civil war. Libyans were furious.

Here’s the short version: More than 75% of the Libyan army deserted and headed back to their provinces to protect their families, raiding armories along the way. The army joined with provincial militias and set up a command structure to take out Gaddafi’s deep state goons.

Gaddafi had three main elements to protect his government -

1. The praetorian guard

2. The flag staff and cadets (boots).

3. The southern mercenary army.

The provincial guard moved quickly to eliminate all three elements, executing a large number and burying them in open pits. The deep state was mainly concerned with removing gold, cash and art. Many were caught and executed.

April 15, 2016: The Legacy of Obama’s ‘Worst Mistake’

In a Fox News interview last Sunday, Obama was asked about his “worst mistake.” It’s a classic gotcha question, but he had an answer ready. “Probably failing to plan for the day after, what I think was the right thing to do, in intervening in Libya.” This was yet another act of presidential contrition for the NATO operation in 2011 that helped to overthrow Muammar Qaddafi but left the country deeply unstable. In 2014, Obama said: “[W]e [and] our European partners underestimated the need to come in full force if you’re going to do this. Then it’s the day after Qaddafi is gone, when everybody is feeling good and everybody is holding up posters saying, ‘Thank you, America.’ At that moment, there has to be a much more aggressive effort to rebuild societies that didn’t have any civic traditions.”

Right from the horse's own mouth.

What you say may be true, but they had help.

For bonus points: Explain what NATO’s strategic and logistical role was in ridding Libya of Qaddafi.

Here’s a likely possibility: The deep state turds in NATO were mostly interested in setting up exit routes out of Libya in order to move gold, cash and artwork out of Libya via paid mercenaries. We know that because hundreds were caught and executed, on YouTube.

Did you know that Qaddafi’s wealth was estimated at $200 billion? That’s lots of couscous.

However, if you have other info that adds to the Libyan civil war telling, I’m listening.

Not sure I fully understand your statement. But perhaps you mean what I wrote in the following paragraph.

But that whole Arab Spring uprising was not a grassroots event, it was a color revolution. It has all of the classic earmarks. We have even seen it done here with the theft of the 2020 election.

I just found out that I left off Tunisia, Morocco, and Bahrain from my list:

PSC Interview: A tortuous road to democracy since the Arab Spring

So, that makes 6 countries, and all ended in regime changes. I wonder what the odds are of that actual happening as grassroots movements? I would say the odds are most likely somewhere between slim & none, with none having a big edge. 🙂

Anyway, you might find the link interesting.

But your theory behind the theft of Qaddafi.'s billions, sounds not only possible & probable, but highly likely to be the case. In other words, it wouldn't surprise me if you are right over the target with that.
