Fasting is a wonderful thing for your health. Most of your hunger or need to eat is simply habit. Hard to comprehend but true.
You won’t die or suffer if you don’t eat on a regular basis. After the third day, I’ve found hunger pains go away. So does pooping. Hunger habit pains will sometimes be present but a glass of water will take care of that.
Personaly, I lose about one pound a day on average, some days nothing at all and I have a strenious lifestyle. It won’t affect your work or your workouts either. I had no problem running six miles a day other than an occasional lightheadedness which was banished by a short rest.
Hunger- the actual hunger will return on your bodies schedule, usually around fourty odd days or so.
BYW, the world record for fasting is a little over a year—look it up.
