All I have is a Troy Built with a 165cc engine. I have used smaller electric mowers and they have no power, Though they are fine for small lawns.

My old Troy Bilt had a 195cc engine. This really wacked down grass and mulched leaves. For what you can buy at Lowes and HD... It seems that 165cc is as high as gets these days.

So all you freepers with $7000 and large lawns. You can check out this all electric beast.— The Ego ZTR

I have a small yard and bought an ego mower.

21 inch iirc.

Works great.

Will probably sell it since I have farmed out lawns to a company. Since my January medical misadventure, the road to recovery has been a bit slow. I really don’t have it in me to do a lot of things. Getting there.

The price is high for a homeowner mower. I wonder how many years the batteries will last? A good gas mower can last a homeowner over 20 years if it is properly maintained. I still use an Articat snowblower my father gave me 20 years ago. That machine is over 52 years old and it's still a beast. The only thing that broke on it was a belt.

I have an 8 year old Honda with a 190cc engine. The newer Hondas have an even larger engine. This is the new version of what I have: https://powerequipment.honda.com/lawn-mowers/models/hrx217vka

I think Troy-Bilt uses or used Honda engines on some of their models.

Mine still starts on the first pull and runs like a champ! Of course, I keep it well maintained.
