lol, reminds me of when we used to have 2 in the front seat and about 4 or 5 in the trunk (NOT the civic) to get into a drive-in.. 😁

Double date, my buddy and me in the trunk and GFs driving. There was a trunk release in the glove box of the Olds 88 my folks had. Took the girls a little longer than we liked after we got into the drive in for them to figure it out. Or highly likely they left us there for a reason. LOL!

An old trick. My town has cruise nights for vintage cars in the summer. It’s amazing how big some of those old cars are, and how much space they have. I drive a Mercury Grand Marquis, which is big and spacious, but not as much as a lot of the old cars.

You mention Civics and football players. One time we were hanging out in the high school parking lot during lunch and there was an early ‘70’s Civic parked there. The first time I had seen one. We were talking about how small it was and one of the football players, who was huge, bet he could lift it. He backed up to the rear bumper and lifted it a good foot off the ground. You could have gotten only two football players of his size into a Civic.
