I liken this to the aces at the target range. They have the best weapons, perfectly clean, excellent working order and can shoot a knat off of a fly’s rear end at 500 yards.
But when the target shoots back, mother nature and fear set in. All that perfect shooting turns into spray and pray, or hiding, or running.
With regards to this Russian tank ace, the war games he was good at probably never had drones or hand held anti-tank weapons attacking him.
